MONTAGUE, Mass. – Noah Kane-Smalls scored seven of his 12 points in a decisive fourth quarter as the Mount Greylock boys basketball team Thursday came from behind to earn a 52-47 win over Turners Falls.
The Mounties outscored the Thunder, 15-6, in the fourth quarter to overcome a four-point deficit.
Ward Bianchi and Nolan Barnes shared team-high honors for Mount Greylock with 13 points apiece, and Brady Auger added eight in the win.
The teams traded big quarters in the first half.
The Mounties jumped out to a 21-4 lead behind nine points from Bianchi in the first quarter.
Turners Falls’ Jackson Cogswell scored 13 of his game-high 18 points to give his team a 30-29 lead at half-time.
Mount Greylock (2-2) is off until Dec. 28, when it hosts Lee.
