TURNERS FALLS, Mass. -- Jackson Shelsy scored 14 points Monday to lead the Mount Greylock boys basketball team to a 73-42 win over Franklin Tech.
The Mounties overcame a slow start offensively to score 22 points in the second quarter and 25 points in the third.
Shelsy scored all of his points in those middle quarters.
Seamus Barnes scored seven of his 11 in the second quarter, and Elias Robinson scored nine of his 11 in the third.
Max McAlister also finished with 11 points for Mount Greylock (1-1), which travels to face Hoosac Valley on Thursday.
