LEE, Mass. – Jacob Howland hit five 3-pointers on his way to a 19-point night as the McCann Tech boys basketball team earned a 63-53 win at Lee.
Eric Rougeau scored 10, and Zach Howland and Jack Dolan added nine points apiece.
The teams combined for 51 attempts at the foul line. The Hornets went 15-for-22 at the stripe.
“It was a very hard-fought game with so many fouls,” McCann Tech coach Chris Bullett said. “I’m proud of how we stuck together and the balance on the scoresheet.”
Colby Marko and Walter Mazza added eight and seven, respectively, in the win.
Tyler Bartini scored 16 for Lee, which got 15 from Ben Cooper.
The Wildcats (2-7) host Drury on Thursday.
McCann Tech (6-4) goes to Westfield Tech on Friday.
