WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Chase Doyle scored 21 points Monday to lead the Mount Greylock boys basketball team to a 77-55 win over Palmer in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class C tournament.
Doyle hit three 3-pointers and shot 6-for-6 at the foul line. He scored 13 points in the third quarter, when the Mounties outscored the Panthers, 23-11, to take a 58-35 lead.
Jackson Shelsey scored 12 points, and Elias Robinson, Max McAlister and Seamus Barnes added eight points apiece.
Mount Greylock (15-4) moves on to Wednesday’s semi-final against the winner of Monday’s game between Renaissance and second-seeded Paulo Freire.
