SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Travis Jordan scored 15 points Monday to lead the Baystate Academy boys basketball team to a 55-50 win over Hoosac Valley.
Jordan went 3-for-4 at the foul line in the fourth quarter, when Baystate held off a Hurricane comeback bid.
Carson Meczywor hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored eight of his game-high 24 points in the fourth, when Hoosac Valley outscored its hosts by a margin of 15-11.
Frank Field scored 11, and Shaun Kastner Jr. added eight for Hoosac Valley.
The Hurricanes (10-6) host Hampshire on Tuesday.
