WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Jack Carpenter scored 10 points to lead a balanced scoring attack for Mount Everett's boys basketball team in a 38-36, come-from-behind win at Mount Greylock on Friday night.
The Eagles had an eight-point lead at half-time, but the Mounties stormed back in the third quarter, outscoring their guests, 15-5, to take a 29-27 lead into the fourth.
Pablo Santos had seven of his 10 points in that third quarter.
Carpenter scored four for Mount Everett in the fourth to help erase that deficit and secure the Eagles' third win over the Mounties this season.
Ben Monteleone and Reece Mullen each scored nine for Mount Everett, which got eight points from Michael Ullrich.
The Eagles are scheduled to host Mount Greylock again on Wednesday.
The Mounties are at Hoosac Valley on Saturday.
