LENOX, Mass. -- Nick Nicotra scored 15 points Monday to lead the Lenox boys basketball team to a 64-46 win over Hoosac Valley.
Nicotra also grabbed eight rebounds, made six steals and passed out four assists for the Millionaires, who broke the game open with a 19-11 second quarter to erase a 15-13 deficit.
Luke Patella scored 10 points, and Michael Ward had nine. Averin Paradise scored eight points with a “great game all around,” according to coach Brian Cogswell.
Izaha Stubbs scored a game-high 20 points, and Cole Desroches scored nine -- all on 3-pointers -- for Hoosac Valley (1-2).
The Hurricanes go to Lee on Wednesday night.
Lenox (2-0) is at McCann Tech on Wednesday.
