WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Derek Paris scored a game-high 21 points as the Mount Greylock boys basketball team earned a 69-68 win over Hoosac Valley on Monday to keep the Mounties’ post-season hopes alive.
Liam Brady scored 16 as four Mount Greylock players finished in double figures and the Mounties (7-10) avenged a thrilling six-point loss in Cheshire earlier this season.
Toby Foehl scored 15, and Mitchell Jezouit added 11 in the win.
Izaha Stubbs scored 20 to lead Hoosac Valley, who got 14 from Sam Larabee.
The Hurricanes (5-12) host Mount Anthony of Bennington, Vt., on Wednesday.
Mount Greylock is at McCann Tech on Wednesday night. Earlier this season, the Mounties earned a four-point win over the Hornets in Williamstown.
