SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Cavan Brady scored 23 points Tuesday to lead the Mount Everett boys basketball team to a 58-49 win over McCann Tech.
Brady did much of his damage in the second quarter, scoring 11 points to help the Eagles take a 28-19 lead into the locker room.
Jim Gulotta scored 10, and Patrick Silk and Anthony Lupiani added eight and seven, respectively, for the home team.
McCann Tech had three players in double figures: Bruce Davis with 12 points and Max Mitchell and Lukas Zelazo with 12 apiece.
The Hornets (3-2) host Bay State Academy on Friday.
Mount Everett (3-3) hosts Lee on Thursday.
