NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Drury High School junior Connor Clark scored eight points in a pivotal third quarter that helped the Blue Devils beat Pittsfield, 63-44, on Wednesday night in Bucky Bullett Gymnasium.
Clark hit two 3-pointers in the quarter, which saw Drury turn a 29-25 half-time lead into a 47-31 bulge heading into the fourth quarter.
Hayden Bird scored a game-high 13 points to lead three players in double figures for Drury, which won its second straight and clinched a Western Massachusetts tournament bid by running its record to 10-1.
Reece Racette and Clark each finished with 11 for the Blue Devils.
Edwin Rodriguez led Pittsfield (6-5) with 11 points. Collin Frinks added eight.
The Generals will look to snap a two-game skid on Friday when they host Taconic.
Drury has a rivalry game on Friday as well, going to Cheshire to face Hoosac Valley.
