PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The Mount Greylock boys basketball team Wednesday held Taconic to 16 first-half points en route to a 71-49 win in a battle of division leaders in the Berkshire Classic.
Sean McCormack scored 24 points, and Patrick Storie added 16 for the South Division Champion Mounties, who led North leader Taconic, 35-16, at half-time and held on to win their 12th straight game.
Brady Foehl hit three 3-pointers to score nine points, and Sam Dils added eight for Mount Greylock (14-4).
Taconic (14-3) got 18 points from Izaiya Mestre, and Matt Stracuzzi and Brett Murphy added eight and seven, respectively.
Mount Greylock hosts Wahconah on Friday night.
Taconic hosts Chicopee on Monday.
