CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Devon Walker scored 17 points to lead four Taconic players in double figures Tuesday as his team beat Hoosac Valley, 67-58, to set up a date against Drury for the Berkshire North Division title.
Izaiya Mestre scored 13, and Jack Cooney and Deonte Sandifer added 11 apiece for Taconic, which took control of the game in a 19-7 third quarter that sent it to the final eight minutes with an 18-point cushion.
Keagan McGrath scored 15, and Vance Eugene added 12 for Hoosac Valley (11-9), which learns Saturday when it will open its Western Massachusetts Division 4 tournament run.
Taconic (16-3) finishes its regular season Thursday at Drury with a league title on the line.
