Lenox Softball Falls in Opener

MONSON, Mass. -- Veronica Ouimet went 2-for-3 with a double and a triple Wednesday to lead the Monson softball team to a 7-1 win over Lenox.

 

Evelyn Julieano went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Millionaires, who also got a hit from Ava Johnston.

 

Autumn Biernacki drew a walk and came around to score Lenox's run in the top of the third.

 

Lenox (0-1) goes to Westfield Tech on Friday.
