Dupont Leads Spartans Past Lenox

LENOX, Mass. – Meg Dupont went 3-for-4 Friday to lead the Monument Mountain softball team to a 12-0 win over Lenox.

 

Dupont drove in a run and scored three times for the Spartans, who got two hits apiece from Gianna Beacco and Andrea Paul.

 

Paul also earned the win in the circle, striking out three and scattering five hits in the shutout.

 

Amaya Alger handled the pitching for the Millionaires, striking out six and allowing six earned runs.

 

Lenox (0-3) hosts Lee on Monday.

 

Monument Mountain (4-1) goes to Amherst-Pelham on Monday.
