Alfonso Leads Pittsfield Softball in Win over Lee

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Mia Alfonso went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles Tuesday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to an 11-3 win over Lee.

 

Alfonso doubled and scored in a four-run first inning for the Generals, who led, 11-0, before the Wildcats got on the board in the top of the sixth.

 

Mia Arpante went 2-for-3 with a double and scored three times.

 

Arpante also struck out nine to earn the win in the circle.

 

Kamryn Renata went 3-for-4 and scored a run for the Wildcats.

 

Lee goes to Monument Mountain on Thursday.

 

Pittsfield (4-2) is at Mount Greylock on Thursday.
