Pittsfield Softball Finishes Regular Season with Win

WORCESTER, Mass. -- Tess Lyon allowed one earned run, drove in one run and doubled Saturday as the Pittsfield softball team defeated St. Peter Marian, 9-5.

 

Lyon struck out a pair in the circle and went 2-for-4 and scored a pair of runs on offense.

 

Brianna Clary also went 2-for-4. Sarah McMahon drove in three runs, and Lexi Sondrini was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs.

 

Pittsfield (18-2) learns Tuesday where and against whom it will open play in the Western Massachusetts tournament.
