Potash Powers Pittsfield Softball over Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Mia Potash went 3-for-4 at the plate Thursday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 7-0 win over Taconic.

 

Tess Lyon went the distance in the circle, striking out three and scattering four hits to pick up the win.

 

Natasha Shade went 2-for-5 for the Generals, who got a pair of RBIs apiece from Szofia Lewis and Jordyn Lummus.

 

Taconic (10-9) learns Tuesday where it will open play in the Western Massachusetts tournament.

 

Pittsfield (17-2) goes to St. Peter Marian on Saturday.
