Shade Leads Pittsfield Past Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Natasha Shade went 4-for-4 and scored four runs Wednesday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 9-0 win over Taconic.

 

Mia Potash was 2-for-3 with a double, and Sarah McMahon doubled and drove in three runs in a 13-hit Pittsfield attack.

 

Tess Lyon got the win in the circle, striking out a pair in six innings of work before turning the ball over to Sophia Groves, who struck out two in the seventh.

 

Anna Bongini went 2-for-3 at the plate for Taconic (5-3), which goes to Wahconah on Friday.

 

Pittsfield (9-2) goes to St. Peter Marian on Friday.
