Tobin Leads Pittsfield Past Northampton

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Madison Tobin went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and three RBIs Saturday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 14-0, five-inning win over Northampton.

 

Natasha Shade went 3-for-3 and scored three times, and Tess Lyon and Lexi Sondrini each had a pair of hits in a 15-hit Pittsfield attack.

 

Lyon split time in the circle with Sophia Groves. The pair combined for three strikeouts while allowing just one hit apiece.

 

Pittsfield (7-2) hosts Agawam on Monday.
