Pierce, Tobin Lead Pittsfield Softball Past Agawam

AGAWAM, Mass. -- Giulianna Pierce struck out eight and scattered six hits Friday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 12-0 win over Agawam.

 

Haley Tobin went 4-for-5 with a double and four runs batted in for the Generals (2-0).

 

Sarah McMahon went 3-for-3 with an RBI, and Natasha Shade, Tess Lyon and Brianna Clary each had a pair of hits.

 

Pittsfield travels to face Westfield on Saturday.
