Pittsfield Softball Tops Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Brittney Perkett went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, and Giulianna Pierce struck out four to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 6-1 win over Taconic on Thursday.

 

Natasha Shade went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, and Pierce helped her cause with a 2-for-3 day at the plate, driving in two runs.

 

Morgan Leihgfield tripled and scored on a basehit by Taylar Ostrander for Taconic (12-7). Ashley Keegan was tagged with four earned runs in the loss.

 

Pittsfield (16-2) hosts Agawam on Friday.
