Perkett Powers Pittsfield Softball

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Brittney Perkett went 3-for-3 with a sacrifice fly Tuesday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 7-0 win over Mount Greylock.

 

Haley Tobin went 2-for-4, and Madison Tobin drove in a pair of runs for PHS, which got a one-hitter in the circle from Giullianna Pierce.

 

Pierce struck out five and walked none in the complete-game win.

 

Elena Cerveira had the hit for Mount Greylock, which got a two-shutout effort from Fiona Kelley.

 

Mount Greylock (9-9) finishes the regular season on Thursday against Drury.

 

Pittsfield (14-2) hosts Taconic on Thursday.
