Pittsfield Tops Wahconah in Nine Innings

DALTON, Mass. -- Erin Murphy went 3-for-5 with an RBI to help the Pittsfield High softball defeat Wahconah, 7-6, in nine innings on Monday at Pine Grove Park.

Emily Koldys went 2-for-5 with a triple and struck out nine in a complete-game victory.

Allie Borowsky struck out three for Wahconah (8-3), which got four hits, including a triple, from Jess Warren.

Pittsfield (11-1) hosts Wahconah on Thursday afternoon.
