Hunt, Tobin Lead Pittsfield Softball Past Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Allie Hunt and Hayley Tobin each went 2-for-4 with three RBIs to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 12-4 win over Taconic on Tuesday.

 

Hunt tripled and stole a base for the Generals (7-0).

 

Ashley Keegan hit a grand slam for Taconic (0-5). Keegan also went the distance in the circle, striking out seven.

 

Julia Murphy struck out 10 in the victory for Pittsfield.

 

The Generals host Drury on Wednesday. Taconic hosts Mount Everett on Saturday.
