Pittsfield Heads Back to Western Mass Final

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Neveah Lopez went 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBIs Thursday to help the Pittsfield softball team to a 20-4 win over Easthampton in the semi-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class B Tournament.

 

Mia Arpante was 3-for-3 with an RBI for the top-seeded Generals (17-3), who have won five straight going into Tuesday’s regional final at Westfield State against Hampshire Regional, a 4-3 winner over Frontier on Thursday.

 

Amanda Pou earned a complete-game, five-inning win in the circle on Thursday, striking out eight, walking three and allowing just one earned run.
