Monument Mountain Softball Downs Lenox

LENOX, Mass. – Kaitlyn Fennelly went 2-for-5, and Grace Fosser tripled and scored three runs Monday as the Monument Mountain softball team defeated Lenox, 18-8.

 

The Spartans jumped on top early with four runs in the top of the first, but Lenox fought back to tie the game, 5-5, after three.

 

Monument Mountain then took control for good with a six-run fifth to go ahead, 11-5.

 

Hailey Ano went 1-for-3 with a walk and scored twice for Lenox (1-10), which hosts Gateway on Wednesday,

 

Monument Mountain (8-2) is at Drury on Wednesday.
