Louw Lifts Monument Softball to Road Rout

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Rhianna Louw dominated at the plate and in the circle Wednesday to lead the Monument Mountain softball team to a 28-7 win over Commerce.

 

Offensively, she led a 33-hit Spartans attack with a 5-for-6 day that included a double and six RBIs.

 

She also earned the win in the circle, striking out nine and allowing just one hit and one walk in 3-⅔ innings of a game that ended after five.

 

Grace Fosser went 5-for-5 with five RBIs, and Takeyia Brown and Aubrey Blanchard each had three hits.

 

Monument Mountain (3-1) goes to Drury on Monday.
