Paul Leads Monument Mountain Softball Past Westfield Tech

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Andrea Paul struck out seven and allowed two earned runs Friday to pitch the Monument Mountain softball team to a 9-6 win over Westfield Tech.

 

Paul helped her cause with a double and an RBI at the plate.

 

Jade Abderhalden doubled  and drove in a run, and Sammy Ullrich had two hits and an RBI in a nine-hit Spartan attack.

 

Monument Mountain (10-1) qualified for the state tournament with the win.

 

It will work on improving its seed on Wednesday when it goes to Smith Vocational.
