Lynch Ks 19 in Wildcats' Win

LEE, Mass. – Bri Lynch Thursday needed her defense to make just two plays behind her.

 

The Lee High ace struck out 19 batters in a 9-0 win over Monument Mountain.

 

The Spartans did get a pair of hits and a walk, but Lynch pitched around those mistakes in a dominating win.

 

Offensively, Taryn Bannon went 3-for-4 with a double and scored three times for the Wildcats.

 

Julianna Schuerer and Karalynn Hopkins each had a pair of hits and a double in a 15-hit Lee attack.

 

The Wildcats took the game over with four runs in the bottom of the third and tacked on four more one inning later.

 

Lee (5-0) goes to Hoosac Valley on Saturday.

 

Monument Mountain (3-1) goes to Lenox on Friday.
