Raifstanger Leads Monument Mountain Softball Past Pope

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Ember Raifstanger went 4-for-4 with a triple and drove in a pair of runs Thursday to lead the Monument Mountain softball team to a 20-6 win over Pope Francis.

 

Lilly Osaki was 4-for-4 with a double, and Bella Viola was 3-for-3 with a double in a 19-hit Spartan attack.

 

Meg Dupont struck out a pair in earning the five-inning win in the circle.

 

Monument Mountain (12-8) learns Wednesday who it will face in the first round of the state tournament.
