Newberry Doubles, Homers as Mounties Top Longmeadow

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Emma Newberry went 3-for-3 with a home run and a double Friday to lead the Mount Greylock softball team to an 11-2 win over Longmeadow.

 

Newberry also drew a walk, scored three times and drove in three runs in the win.

 

Kami Sweet went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs, and Mia Filliault and Brodie Rosier each had a pair of hits.

 

In the circle, Sweet struck out 12 and walked four while allowing just two hits to earn the complete-game win.

 

Mount Greylock (6-4) goes to Monument Mountain on Monday.
