Sweet, Koffi Lead Mount Greylock Softball into Sectional Semi-Finals

WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Kami Sweet struck out six in a four-hit shutout Monday as the Mount Greylock softball team advanced to the Western Massachusetts Division 3 semi-finals with an 11-0 win over St. Mary’s.

 

Malia Koffi homered to highlight a nine-hit Mount Greylock attack.

 

Jordyn Codding and Brodi Rosier each had a pair of hits, and Codding and Kelsey MacHaffie each drove in a pair of runs.

 

The sixth-seeded Mounties (11-4) are on the road Wednesday to face Franklin Tech, a 6-1 winner over Mount Everett on Monday.
