Wahconah Softball Goes to 17-1

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Ella Quinto went 3-for-4 with three RBIs Wednesday to lead the Wahconah softball team to a 6-1 win over Mount Greylock.

 

Avery Vale-Cruz went 2-for-4 with a double at the plate and struck out 14 in the circle to earn the complete-game win, allowing just two hits.

 

Kami Sweet had one of those hits, a double in the bottom of the seventh, when the Mounties scored their run.

 

Mount Greylock (11-6) hosts Hoosac Valley on Friday.

 

Wahconah finishes the regular season 17-1 and learns Thursday who it will play in the first round of next week’s Western Mass tournament.
