Vale-Cruz Dominant in Wahconah Road Win

MANCHESTER, Vt. – Avery Vale-Cruz struck out 12 in the circle and went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and five RBIs Saturday to lead the Wahconah softball team to a 19-0 win over Burr & Burton.

 

Vale-Cruz allowed just one hit in the five-inning win.

 

Elena Iovieno went 1-for-1 with a triple and a pair of walks, and Lily Robb doubled in a nine-hit Wahconah attack.

 

Wahconah (9-0) hosts Turners Falls on Monday.
