Wahconah Softball Blasts Frontier to Stay Unbeaten

DALTON, Mass. – Avery Vale-Cruz went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double Wednesday to lead the Wahconah softball team to a 17-2 win over Frontier.

 

Vale-Cruz drove in five runs in the five-inning win. She also struck out 10 in the circle to earn the complete-game victory.

 

Ella Quinto went 2-for-3 and scored three times. Jen Wehner was 2-for-2 with a double, and Dani Barry tripled in a 13-hit attack.

 

Wahconah (8-0) goes to Manchester, Vt., to play Burr and Burton on Saturday.
