Trager Leads Wahconah Softball Past Monument Mountain

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Julia Trager went 3-for-4 with a home run Tuesday to lead the Wahconah softball team to a 14-1 win over Monument Mountain.

 

Kaylee O’Bryan also homered, a two-run shot in the first inning of the five-inning win.

 

Ella Quinto went 2-for-3 and Elena Iovieno doubled in the win.

 

O’Bryan got the start in the circle for Wahconah and struck out seven while walking just two.

 

Takaiya Brown went 1-for-2 and scored the lone run for the Spartans.

 

Monument Mountain hosts Lee on Thursday.

 

Wahconah (5-1) takes a five-game winning streak into Thursday’s game at Hoosac Valley.
