Wahconah Softball Tops Westfield

DALTON, Mass. -- Hailey Lenski singled to drive in two runs in the bottom of the third and help the Wahconah softball team defeat Westfield, 6-2, on Monday.

 

Wahconah scored three times in the inning to break a 2-2 tie, and Abby Wells, who struck out nine and allowed no earned runs, made the lead stand up for the complete-game win in the circle.

 

Morgan Marauswzski went 2-for-3 with a double, and Kaylee O’Bryan drove in a pair of runs in the win.

 

Wahconah (7-1) hosts Drury on Tuesday.
