Wells Leads Wahconah Softball Past Hoosac Valley

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Abby Wells homered at the plate and struck out five in the circle to lead the Wahconah softball team to a 12-0 win over Hoosac Valley on Wednesday.

 

Wells went 2-for-3 and scored twice.

 

Jess Warren went 3-for-4 with a triple and a double, and Emma Parkington was 4-for-5 with a triple and two runs scored.

 

Madi Puppolo singled for Hoosac Valley (11-3), which goes to drury on Thursday.

 

Wahconah (13-5) hosts Pittsfield on Thursday evening.
