Wahconah's Wells No-Hits Drury

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Wahconah’s Abby Wells no-hit the Drury softball team for a 5-1 win on Tuesday.

 

Wells struck out seven and walked three while surrendering an earned run. She also helped her cause with a single and a run scored.

 

Emma Parkington led Wahconah’s offense, going 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, and Julia O’Connor and Hailey Lenski each had a hit.

 

Tessa Zoito went the distance in the circle for Drury, allowing just one earned run; Wahconah cashed in on three Drury errors to do the bulk of its damage.

 

Drury (3-7) hosts McCann Tech on Wednesday.

 

Wahconah (7-4) goes to Mount Greylock Thursday.
