Greenfield's Paulin Shuts Down Wahconah

GREENFIELD, Mass. – Greenfield’s MacKenzie Paulin struck out nine and allowed three baserunners in a 13-1, five-inning win over Wahconah on Tuesday.
 
Olivia Lemay went 4-for-4 with a double to lead the Green Wave’s offense.
 
Edrie Collins and Kenadi Arnhold each singled for Wahconah.
 
Harper Key and Arnhold split time in the circle, striking out a pair, in the loss.
 
“Hats off to Greenfield,” Wahconah coach Dustin Belcher said. “They played very well. We have a lot to work on, and our focus is getting better embracing these tough games. We have two more quality opponents this week.”
 
Wahconah (3-2) heads back to the Pioneer Valley on Thursday to face Turners Falls and on Friday to play South Hadley.
