Wahconah Drubs Northampton

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Sammie Kaley homered to highlight an 18-hit attack for the Wahconah softball team in a 16-3 win over Northampton on Thursday.
 
Kaley went 2-for-5 with three RBIs and scored four runs at the top of Wahconah’s lineup.
 
Edrie Collins was 4-for-6 and drove in six runs.
 
Marlee Arnhold went 2-for-5 with a pair of doubles and drove in three runs. Allia Dipietro was 3-for-4, and Kenadi Arnhold was 3-for-5.
 
Marlee Arnhold earned a complete-game win in the circle, striking out nine, walking one and allowing two earned runs.
 
"Marlee pitched outstanding for her first outing of the year," Wahconah coach Dustin Belcher said. "We got some great at-bats through the lineup, and we played very well defensively."
 
Wahconah (3-0) hosts Taconic on Friday.
