Wahconah Blanks Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Wahconah’s Sammie Kaley struck out 12 in a five-inning, complete-game 12-0 win over Mount Everett on Saturday.
 
Mariah Barnes led Wahconah’s offense, going 2-for-4 with three RBIs.
 
Elena Iovieno and Kenadi Arhnhold each had a pair of hits, and Hannah Talora and Kaley each doubled in a nine-hit Wahconah attack.
 
Makayla Carpenter went 2-for-2 for Mount Everett. Eagles Julia Devoti and Emily Steuernagle split time in the circle.
 
Mount Everett (2-3) hosts Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.
 
Wahconah (6-4) is at Mount Greylock on Sunday afternoon.
