Southwick Softball Outslugs Hoosac Valley

ADAMS, Mass. – Ellie Westcott went 4-for-5 with four RBIs Thursday to lead the Southwick-Tolland softball team to a 17-13 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

The teams combined for 25 hits and 10 errors on their way to scoring 30 runs at Russell Field.

 

Izabela Tart went 3-for-3 with three RBIs to lead Hoosac Valley, which got doubles from Alayna Shears, Averie McGovern, Hannah Lord and Trinity Brackett.

 

Gracelyn Wright went the distance in the circle for the Hurricanes, striking out five and allowing eight earned runs.

 

Hoosac Valley (4-7) hosts Ludlow on Tuesday.
