Hoosac Valley Softball Improves to 2-0

SOUTHWICK, Mass. – Hannah Lord went 2-for-3 with an RBI Tuesday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to a 9-5 win over Southwick-Tolland.

 

Gracelyn Wright drove in a pair of runs, and Danielle Glasier walked and scored twice for the Hurricanes.

 

Averie McGovern earned the win in the circle, striking out seven and allowing three earned runs in a complete-game effort.

 

Hoosac Valley (2-0) goes to Vermont to play Brattleboro on Thursday.
