Witek One-Hitter Lifts Hoosac Valley over Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Rylynn Witek allowed just one hit Tuesday in pitching the Hoosac Valley softball team to a 6-2 win over Mount Everett.

 

Witek struck out eight and walked three in the complete-game win.

 

Izabela Tart went 2-for-3 and Trinity Brackett doubled in a seven-hit Hoosac Valley attack.

 

The one hit Witek allowed was a solo home run by Emma Goewey.

 

Julia Devoti went the distance in the circle and allowed just two earned runs for Mount Everett (5-11), which hosts Leonx on Wednesday.

 

Hoosac Valley (9-4) goes to Springfield Central on Wednesday.
