Hoosac Valley Downs Lee

LEE, Mass. – Genevieve Lagess went 3-for-6 with a home run and five RBIs Monday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to a 24-5 win over Lee.

 

Rachael Wnuk was 4-for-6 with a pair of doubles and drove in six runs.

 

Izabela Tart went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles in a 23-hit attack for the Hurricanes.

 

Gracelyn Wright earned the win in the circle, striking out 14, walking seven and allowing four earned runs.

 

Bri Lynch struck out nine in five innings of work for the Wildcats. She also contributed a double and an RBI at the plate.

 

Lee (1-2) travels to face Westfield Tech on Tuesday.

 

Hoosac Valley (4-0) goes to Mount Everett on Tuesday.
