Tart Leads Potent Hoosac Valley Softball Offense in Opener

LUDLOW, Mass. – Izabela Tart went 3-for-5 with a triple and two doubles Friday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to an 18-6, season-opening win over Ludlow.

 

Ella Bissaillon, Gracelyn Wright and Rachael Wnuk also tripled.

 

Wnuk went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs, and Wright was 3-for-5 in a 17-hit attack for the Hurricanes.

 

Wright also earned the complete-game win in the circle, allowing five earned runs.

 

Hoosac Valley (1-0) is scheduled to host Mount Greylock on Saturday afternoon.
