Lagess Powers Hoosac Valley Past Comp

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Genevieve Lagess went 5-for-5 with a double and five RBIs Friday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to a 16-3 win over Chicopee Comprehensive.

 

Ella Bissaillon was 3-for-5 with a double, and Rachael Wnuk was 2-for-3 with a double in a 16-hit attack for the Hurricanes.

 

Gracelyn Wright got the win in the circle, striking out 10 and walking just two.

 

She also helped her cause with a 2-for-3 day at the plate.

 

Hoosac Valley (9-1) goes to Mount Greylock on Saturday.
