Hurricanes Rout Chicopee

ADAMS, Mass. – Izabela Tart went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs Monday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to a 19-1, five-inning win over Chicopee.

 

Alayna Shears, Hannah Lord and Rachael Wnuk each doubled, and Gracelyn Wright went 2-for-2 with a triple in a 14-hit attack for the Hurricanes.

 

Wright struck out 12 and scattered three hits to earn a complete-game win in the circle.

 

Hoosac Valley (7-1) goes to Mount Everett on Tuesday.
