Paronto Perfect in Thunder's Road Blowout

SOUTHWICK, Mass. – Rylee Paronto struck out three in a five-inning perfect game on Tuesday as the Taconic softball team beat Southwick-Tolland, 13-0.

 

Paronto also helped her cause with a home run, a double and four runs batted in.

 

Ella Stodden went 1-for-3 with a double, and Maddie Harrington was 1-for-2 with three RBIs in a six-hit Taconic attack.

 

The Thunder worked 13 walks in the five-inning game. Chey Goddard and Leena Schettini each walked three times.

 

Taconic (7-5) hosts Bennington, Vt.’s, Mount Anthony on Wednesday.
